Miami Dolphins Jay (Train) Ajayi Steamrolls Buffalo for 214 yard VICTORY

For a second consecutive week Earl Campbell, I mean OJ Simpson, I mean Ricky Williams, I mean Jay Ajayi ran wild for 200 plus yards versus stout rushing defenses. Those other guys are just the only other running back names in the history of the league that have eclipsed the 200 yard milestone on consecutive weeks. For a second straight week the Dolphin defense shut down highly explosive running teams that were the AFC's talk of town before being introduced to a Miami Dolphin TEAM that has suddenly found their identity. For a second consecutive week The Miami Dolphins produced nearly 500 yards, and just shy of 200 more yards than the highly touted, and rolling opposition. Due to penalties and special teams mishaps that provided the Bills with short field scoring opportunities, Miami trailed by eleven with one third quarter minute remaining. Fourteen minutes and 22 unanswered points later the Dolphins led by eleven just before the fourth quarters two minute warning. That 22nd unanswered point was the result of a 67 yard Ryan Tannehill touchdown pass to Kenny Stills. For a second consecutive week Miami held possession of the ball for nearly 15 minutes longer than both Pittsburgh and Buffalo. For a second consecutive week THE MIAMI DOLPHINS WON!!!

Sorry folks, PC's been down, had to post short and SWEEEET from phone, (so you can tell the entire story). Miami has pulled to 3 - 4 and now have two weeks of proof to hang their hats on with two weeks to prepare for the next games visiting jets. YEEEEE HAAAAA GIGGITTY, two more weeks at minimum (which equates to one month overall) for us fans to bask in THE GLORY of VICTORY, Thank You Miami Dolphins!! GOFINS!!! 41 rush for 256, 25 pass for 204, 37:02 - 22:58!!! Buff 67 rush, 200 pass & sacked 4 to THill 1.
17,

missed the entire game. was just doing something i so fucking know i am going to come to regret. it is what i do best in life. but i digress, so what did i miss about this game, the highlights i watched were just how buffalo played poorly and lost the game.

Fun one to watch! This starting five OL is making a huge impact... Ajayi really hits the holes and is not easy to bring down. He was shedding tacklers. I enjoy the way Gase has taken it off of Tannehill and has this team dominating the line of scrimmage. IT seemed the Bills disrespected Miami's ability to run and played a soft two deep with LBs pulling back into the lanes trying to bate Tannehill. Gase just ran it down their throats. He must be showing film of how teams don't respect Miami's run game.

The look on Rex Ryan's face was classic as the Dolphins starting taking it to his bullies. Again I was the only person at the watering hole with an old tattered throw back tee on! No one was willing to show their colors, but by the end of the game there was a crowd around cheering. Winning will bring the fans back out of the woodwork...

I think Gase may have read your post of the 5 minute QB. I am starting to notice quick passes in space and gaps. Never seen Tannehill do that before. That or Gase is really a coach this team needed. FINALLY

This is nuts, glad Jay pulled hard for Miami
Patrick, I mentioned in a past post that this team needed to take the ball out of Tannehill's hands. And the only way to do that was to run the ball. But until 2 weeks ago, Gase has a patch worked offensive line. The rebuilding process of this team is surely not over. They certainly still need to address the long-term QB play. If they can continue to run, then that may help Tannehill from having to be put in situations that he is not able to handle. Unfortunately, Tannehill has a lot more of those situations that we have imagined.

But the new and originally intended OL has made a big difference.

There's no question the team still has holes. At some point, even after 2 wins, there will be teams that can expose them. Although Ajayi has done well, I think that thing that has helped the most is not having to put Tannehill in situations of having to win the games. What's so telling is that in the last 2 games, is Tannehill has not thrown an interception. Now that's impressive!

I thought it was a great game. Unfortunately we got the piss poor officiating as normal. I could not believe Landry got a taunting penalty after making that huge play and all he did was spin the ball. Really taking the fun out of this game.

Gase needs to really clean up these real penalties that we had in the end. The defense shoots themselves in the foot when they start doing the dirty hits that draw 15 yarders.

Also was it me or did 30 seconds seem take forever? I swear we were watching a basketball game.

But good game anyways, even though I think 4 games lost is a tough hole to climb out of. Our only hope will be if Buffalo can rebound and beat New England this weekend. I thought Pittsburg hung on for half the game but minus Ben they had no chance.

HEY NFF, Good Day for you :)
Yes the refs, OMG. Killing me. My wife said it best last season "Miami will have to win outright and overcome the biased officiating in order to win" how spot on is that?

I was really pulling for Ajayi to be who he is, even when he was drafted. Good win, QB playing well, man AWESOME

Question of the day, to me Landry's hit on the Bills safety was legal. But was ruled "Unsportmans penalty 15 yards" So do you think the hit was legal?

He didn't lead with his helmet but with his shoulder. Again poor officiating. I watched the entire game and the part of the Patriots game yesterday. Funny we even get unknown commentators as well, but the Patriots get the well known, Sims and Nantz and we got a couple of no buddies who couldn't give true insight to the piss poor officiating. All most like they agreed with every call. McCarthy and Archuleta

Agreed, a little thing like that is over doing it by the refs, actually the NFL braintrust. Not having a little boasting is hurting the game. I like the xtra explosion of emotion we get sometimes from a player who has busted his butt all week to play the game.
I have to add one more thing. Stills touch down. We are finally seeing players go after the ball other than Landry. If you get a chance, watch Still's adjustment to an under thrown ball.

I am actually excited for once to watch Miami Football.

""Under thrown"" ?? Ball wouldn't have been an offensive reception if placed anywhere but where it was placed with two defenders deep of Stills!!! ""Throw the receiver open"", I believe it was purposely/perfectly placed!! Perhaps even pre-planned between wr & qb, but I understand that no one will ever give THill any benefit of a doubt, (do or die on 3rd and six, had to make it work by throwing the receiver open)!! And yes, Stills should have caught the one that was actually under thrown early in the game!! I watched a brilliant laid out diving catch in the Sunday night game when the defender also laid out with the diving receiver, and the defender had his arm in the exact same place (between the receivers arms), and the receiver still caught the ball for a brilliant diving reception!! GOFINS!! How-bout the other game saver (near the end) via THill on a do or die 3rd and long when THill scrambled away from the onslaught, rolled right, bought time which gave the receiver time to separate and hit the crossing the field Landry with the dart for the first down??
I still think it was under thrown, LOL. You might be right. Either way, hey it was a touch down and a great play.
Yep, great play, and with a four point lead and just over two minutes remaining in the game, we didn't get conservative and we put (what ended up as the game winning points) in the hands of The Miami Dolphins QB!! You all better learn to like and/or trust him, cuz it's gonna be a long time before someone better falls in our laps, meanwhile whoever comes next will never be Dan Marino either, (so eventually he won't be liked and/or trusted amongst the fans either!! But Gase by putting the game in his hands at that point, does trust him, (no matter what those that watch on TV think)!! GOFINS!!!
Fins, don't get too excited with Tannehill. Gase is doing a lot in trying to help him perform. Long term, Tannehill is probably not the answer unless we can continue a strong running game. Fortunately, with a strong running game the last 2 weeks it allowed Tannehill not to throw interceptions. But those will come and we shall see how Tannehill can handle to adversity. In the past, he's not been so good with it. But Gase needs to continue to make changes, push the team for results and if he doesn't get it he needs to sit people.
I Saw bits and pieces on NFL Red Zone and liked what I saw except for the dumb personal fouls that really helped the Bills get back into the game. Vance Joseph was climbing all over Jones's butt for them. Any word if there is anything going on for Suh's alleged knee kicking of Ben in the Steelers game? Anyway, the Jay Train looked great and so did some passing. The D did a nice number on Bush but still has to guard against the QB roll-outs of Taylor. We get to play them in the cold next time and maybe the Bills will be on such a slide that they won't have much heart left by then. But overall, CONGRATS TEAM ON AN AWESOME WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get the impression the officials are always shaded to the side of the outcome the NFL wants. They were hoping Buffalo would compete with NE to make our division more interesting because they had predetermined that Miami and the Jets weren't going anywhere. I may sound jaded (I am, but that's besides the point!) but if you look at the scheduling of the prime time games you can see which teams the NFL has predetermined as the front runners.

It's all about the money, more people tune in to watch winning teams and if the schedule comes out before the season starts, those teams need to win. So yes, Jarvis Landry spun the ball on the Buffalo sideline and the ref stuck his nose in it. Yes, Jarvis Landry whacked that DB senseless and the ref stuck his nose in it. Guess what, Miami gets bullied because they are not the aggressor and Landry decided it was time to become the aggressor!

I will take both of those penalties! Because they fired Miami up! I'm not saying we should be some dirty team, I'm just saying those are the marginal plays that aggressors get called for unless they are those front runners I just talked about. If we get ourselves up in the select company the officials will turn their backs on those plays. It's all about the money. The holding calls are exactly the same, they can be called on any down and to me it was obvious the officials were calling to the agenda.

Thorny your wife is correct. We have to beat the opponent and the officials...

NEFF, I agree with you about the never ending game... At the end I was thinking, "these officials are still trying to influence the outcome." Calling penalties and allowing Buffalo to stop the clock multiple times without using TOs. But in the end we beat up the bullies and the officials!!!

I think Stills should have caught the other long pass. I know the DB got a hand in there, but good receivers make those plays. Parker still does not seems to be engaged in the game. He just kind of goes through the motions. Great victory for the Dolphins!!! It will be interesting when teams really begin stacking the box to stop Ajayi and the running game. Hopefully the passing game is up to it, because it's coming. The Jets will not want to be the team that gets the third 200 yard game on it.
Safety Michael Thomas (starting in place of Rashad) took all responsibility of the long TD that appeared to be the fault of Maxwell!! Said he had deep coverage responsibilities but got caught up in play actions disguised run..

Miami Dolphins running back Arian Foster has announced his retirement, using the Uninterrupted to release his reasoning. Foster joined the Dolphins this summer after recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.

BREAKING NEWS: @ArianFoster announces his retirement on UNINTERRUPTED. His story on why he’s walking away.
8:06 PM - 24 Oct 2016

Foster began his career as an undrafted free agent signing by the Houston Texans. In seven seasons with the team, he rushed for 6,472 yards with 54 touchdowns on 1,454 carries. He also caught 249 receptions for 2,268 yards and 14 scores. Foster was selected to four Pro Bowls with Houston, and was a one-time First-Team All-Pro selection.

Since signing with Miami, Foster has carries the ball 22 times in four games, picking up 55 yards along with six receptions for 78 yards. He missed time this season due to a hamstring and groin injury suffered in the second game of the year. He began the year as the team’s starter but had been surpassed by Jay Ajayi in recent weeks.

In his statement on the Uninterrupted, Foster said he is at peace with his decision, and he knows it is the right time, even if it is strange to do it in the middle of the season. Foster thanked the Miami Dolphins organization for the chance they gave him to continue his career this season, but he also realizes that his body “can’t take the punishment this game asks for any longer.” He also thanked the team for allowing him to “bow out with grace and making this process as easy as possible.”

Thank you for the leadership and experience you brought to the team, Arian. Sorry your body could not take it, but at least you are walking away with your head held high.

I like the guy he is a class act. So is the man he saw go to his old team. (Miller)

I heard that it was Incognito that threw Bush' helmet in disgust ; )) .You all notice how ReXXX tried to rub things in our face with 5 captains being ex-dolphins?? Take that BITCHES!!!

MIAMI GARDENS—There’s always a good chance of Dolphins’ divisional games getting ugly, and the Miami-Buffalo matchup took a bad turn in the final minutes.

There was a scuffle at the goal line after Reggie Bush’s touchdown in the Dolphins’ 28-25 win this afternoon with several players from both sides involved. Miami defensive end Andre Branch and Bills guard Richie Incognito, a former Dolphin, were at the center of it.

The kerfuffle ended with Incognito throwing Branch’s helmet to the 25-yard line.

“I heard it got thrown, but I don’t know who threw it,” Branch said. “I honestly don’t know who it was. It’s an intense game, but we came away with the win.

“In the game of football you’re going to have things like that happen. We’ve gotta control it more and just get off the field with a win. Clean it up.”

Why would Incognito heave a helmet? Start with the fact that he’s a fairly wild individual, but in his defense, he likely was set off by something that happened in the scrum.

It appeared in real time that Branch had has hand on Incognito’s throat, though the best available view from replay isn’t clear. Incognito’s head is at the bottom right of the frame, and that’s Branch’s arm:

Nice to see Incognito hasn't changed one bit. Thought after being put out of the league he would of smartened up. Good fit with Rex
We know the Beanies game will be a tough one. Todd Bowles likes beating us because Ross/Ireland did not pick him as HC after Sparano went away.
5 X-Dolphins as captains... Gase really had this team ready for the Buffalo Bullies. I have to wonder if by the end of the game some of those X-Dolphins were thinking they wouldn't mind playing for Miami now. They'll be lying-in-wait for Miami when we go to Buffalo. Winning that game would truly make a statement!

Richie throws a helmet and gets nothing, Landry spins a ball and gets a taunting penalty. Things that make you go, hummmmmm.

The Cubs have not been in the Series since 1945 and have not won it since 1908. Numerologists suggest this might be the year. There are 108 stitches on a baseball. Wrigley Field sits on Chicago's planned development lot 108. The Cubs win the Series in the movie "Back to the Future II," which has a running length of 108 minutes.
2 replies · active 441 weeks ago
Cool Stuff!! Go Cubs!! WS schedule is messed up though, was hoping game 7 would be at Wrigley with Cubs winning, now gotta hope they take it at Wrigley in game 5, I wanna see that celebration!! Probably have to take it in Cleveland game 6 or 7.. Love the Cubs manager, Rays were nuts to let him get away, and BoSox too with GM Epstein !!
NewEngFinFan's avatar

NewEngFinFan · 441 weeks ago

Epstein left on his own. Its was Francona that upset me when let him go. But at the time they thought he was being to soft on the players and they were walking all over him. Allowed them to drink in the dug out during games. Brass didn't think to highly of that. But did hate seeing Epstein leave. For a young guy he really knows baseball and baseball development.
The challenge of the Cubs was too alluring for Joe Madden. He decided it was time to move on, the Rays didn't just let him go. All of Tampa Bay had a love (and some haters always) affair with Madden. I would love to see the Cubs win, not for Madden as much as to break the historical jinx. There is a side that contends the Cubs are so beloved because of the drought.

Weren't the Cubs supposed to win last year in the movie "Back to the Future II?"

Yea, but it was just the 107th year they went without a championship, this year is 108 LOL (which meets the criteria of all those 108 omens..

I looked up his highlight reel and the man is quick to the ball and has nice moves. And of course a Georgia Bulldog is always welcome at my house. My Mom is alumni.

I was watching MLB channel and the weather is cold and rain expected, Game is an hour earlier tonight.
I had a laugh when the camera panned the early folks waiting for the gates to open as there was this guy in Orange tights (I hope winter underwear) with an Orange cowboy hat on, he also had a large black cape. His black boots were above ankle. Look for him when you turn on the game. You will need to tell me later what the gitup means....mental ill or just drawing attention to himself. It is better than the guy with the multi-colored afro.
Some of the seats are being scalped for thousands $$$$ a few for 50 grand. wtf.
4 replies · active 441 weeks ago
If he's got a cowboy hat on he's probably out to scalp the Indians, orange doesn't relate to either team colors, so just an Odd Ball attention seeker I guess, (appears to have worked) .; )) . Heard that a single parking pass is 400 minimum and tickets are suggested to be way more expensive in Chicago..
Heard that one guy got 4 tickets for 64,000 (16,000 X 4) and suggested to be one of the better deals.. Hope those 4 tickets are for every game of the series or at least all games scheduled for one city or the other.. Even if for all 7 games that's nearly 10,000 per game, and it might not take 7 games!!! CRAZYYYY!! Must be nice to be rich??

Man Kenny, I hate the bye week. I really want to see Miami play and stomp the Jets in the same, dominant way.

Somehow, I don't think this two-game winning streak is going to wind up being anything like Dan Campbell's two win fluke, last year. This Miami Dolphin team is going to grow in leaps and bounds, now that they are flexing their muscles up front.

A third convincing victory in a roll over a good team, (defensively) will serve sufficient notice that Miami is for real. And look at all the explosive plays for big yardage.

Looking great Tony:)))
Yea Tony, who'd a thunk (me) that the OL trio of BA, MP, and JJ (that we'be been trying to get on the field together for three years) would make such a difference?? That trio no matter who's been between them is 9 - 1 and have only lost to a great Aaron Rodgers comeback when the D folded!! That trio and the threat of a real running game is making my boy look pretty efficient too!! Who'd a thunk?? GOFINS!! Yea I too wish we could ride the momentum through this Sunday!! Then have the bye before spending the following two weeks in a southern California hotel versus the Chargers & Rams (that a been the ultimate scheduling scenario to make amends for the brutal start we were dealt)... Won't matter as long as that OL trio and now fabulous five along with other intricate parts stay on the field for the remainder!!!!!!!! GOFINS!!!!!

Success will continue as the Dolphins improve under Coach Gase, I want to see how the Jets fare
against the Cleveland team this Sunday. I hate the jets.....
Getting Tunsil sure has paid off. I watch him for any let down or fatigue. None so far. He is going to be an All Pro pick soon. And don't forget Williams - he is the 3rd down back we needed badly. His TD was of a player not to be denied. I like the sound of ''The Fabulous Five'' but dont gay it up. :>)
I guarantee you Coach hoodie has been paying attention to us.

Yea great determination on that DW TOUCHDOWN, most impressive 12 yard TD run I've seen in a long time, carried the DL for 5 yards!!! RT Sam Young played 14 plays as the 6th OLmen to give the young TE's a breather, sure would like to know the run/pass numbers on those 14 plays!! Had 9 runs of ten yards or more, didn't have near that many in the first five games combined, and we've done it twice in a row since the intended from the beginning OL has been on the field!!

I just got an email from some folks in Miami. seems there is a move and a petition to return to the uniforms worn last sunday, I must say they looked sharp. I always liked the dark green with the white pants and white helmets. Whatever. Just win. Beat the Jets. I hate the jets..
2 replies · active 441 weeks ago
Yea the 66 uniforms & logo are Da'chit, we will wear them again versus SF and twice again in o17.. Garfinkel says that NFL rules prohibit us going back to the 66 uniforms permanately (if we should choose to do so) until a specific time period has passed with the current uniforms/logo.. While we do have variations of the current uniforms color schemes.. Just PLEASE NEVER wear that all orange uni ever again, especially when playing a team who's color is orange, we usually wear white, Cincy an orange team wore white that night and THill refused to throw it to the guys in orange. ; )))

Thats really funny and so true, they looked like pajamas......
...smells like...So a certain uniform manufacturer has a contract to provide the uni and I bet some vacations and trips to Vegas were involved with that.
