Mannnn, I'm glad that about 900 players are gonna hit the market in the next week (starting on Tuesday ), ONE of'ems gotta be a feesible veteran TE option !! OTHERWISE we gotta trade for a reliably productive veteran or hope that Clay, Sims, and Eggie become wiley veterans overnight!!

A severe weakness at TE will seriously effect all receiving option's and the QB throughout the year!!
THill looked visibly aggravated with Clay, they were most definitely not on the same page early on, Clay's route's were atrocious for a guy with his feet, and he dropped several well thrown THill passes ( including a TD )...

If those are the best routes that Clay is capable of from the TE position ?? Sims will be a better option at TE, cuz he's a studly run blocking TE AND he currently runs better routes than Clay !!

Minus a veteran TE pickup, I think it'd be great if Sims could take the # 1 TE job cuz I like Clay better at the H-Back spot anyways, and I suggested that before his TE performance vs the Bucs !!

I like Clay A LOT, he's one of my favorite players, but if he's gonna be our TE, he has to run much more crisp routes and he has to catch the ball ( which I know he's capable of ) !!

HOPEFULLY he was just really nervous tonight with his first TE start, at least he got the worst night of his career out of the way early !!!

Clay is usually better than what he showed tonite. I think we really need a top notch TE. Game was good. Seen more from RT, Miller did well(OK Kenney) although Thomas did not have a great game I still like the way he can push through the tackles. Gillissie is quick. ST teams need to have much better ball control.

Thanks Kenny did not want to rile you :-))))) RT really has improved, I was quite impressed although he still has trouble with the red zone. Our biggest problem was ST this week. I was glad no one got hurt when Carroll messed up. Who do we play next??? I would like to see more of Gillislee on returns I think he is really quick of course Thigpen is good too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saints, but it's a game ( the final preseason game ) where traditionally the starters don't get much work ( resting/protecting against injuries for the following weeks regular season opener ), while those down the depth chart will get their opportunities to make the final cut's !!

Gillislee WILL make the team and you'll see plenty of him vs the Saints !!

Yea, those ST's blunders are typical of the pre-season, Carroll got worked on that play and communication was lacking, but NO-WAYYY should a gunner be able to man-handle Carroll for 10 plus yards and right into the return man, Carroll's gotta put that frail gunner on his buttt upon first contact !!

Lost but totally outplayed both the Boyz & Bucs if not for the turnovers, we wasted the Jags, and our 1st teams kept pace with powerhouse Houston's first teams for the first halves that they played vs each other !!

The turnovers will get fixed, and we'll compete with anyone in the regular season when not losing the turnover, penalty, and time of possession battles !!!

:-))))))))))))))) :-)))))))))))))))))))))) I knew 1st string would not play much in this final game. Are you sure there is no penalty for Carroll getting the gunner LOL Have a good evening. Hey where has Shawn been I miss talking to him.
