Thx but no thx for the Ryan Mallett highllight reel... Kaepernick has a better highlight reel throwing, running & throwning on the run!!! Also, a better senior bowl, combine, pro day!!! Top that!!!

I'm telling you. Give it a chance.
Good prospect... I watched the highlight reel and skipped the article (time issue). I liked his poise and his release. I must admit now, I am curious, but I still want to go for Ingram and hope the Dolphins'present staff and management is gone by next year.

Sorry Paul, but this kid is going to have accuracy issues. Ya he has a nice play fake and decent pocket awarness, but that is college in the nfl the litte side step in the pocket will not work in the nfl. I see this kid as being another Henne. He is not worth a 1st round pick. Im still say trading down to pick up two 2nd round picks or a 2nd and 3rd and take Kaepernick and Lashoure or Williams in the late 2nd or 3rd round.
Not a mallet fan, he seems like a good kid and his most outstanding flaw that ive read about over and over again is some supposed drug problem. I dont understand why that seems to be a factor in his draft stock, if it really was a problem he wouldnt be one of the top QB prospects in the draft, but then again its a very thin line between good and bad in this years QB prospects. Mallet is over hyped and overrated id take a chance on Newton before him and thats because the versatility that Newton would bring not because i think hes a better QB. Kaepernick is a mix of the best things about Mallet and Newton (arm strength and speed) plus Kaepernick is the more accurate passer and he showed that at the combine.
Hey there Ohio, I second that motion!!! That's what i've been sayin, trade down get and couple of picks!!!
If Mallett gets drafted he won't start this year, he will have time to learn the system. He will do well. No qb nol matter who is starting over Henne this year in Miami. Henne has the advantage of learning the new offense, so instead of wasting time
signing a FA or trading for a qb draft a quarterback and teach him. Mallett or Ponder could be that.

As long as we get him I'll be happy.
Very interesting and informative article. Mallett definitely has the tools and hopefully will use them at the next level. Will he be available at 15? Possibly if too many teams focus on the bad rather than the good.

I would be very, very surprised if Mallett is taken before 15.
If available at 15, it will be interesting to see what direction the team goes. If not then Ingram appears to be the people's choice or a trade down if another team will agree to do it.
