You Tell Me: Is Offensive Line Or Quarterback A Bigger Concern For The Miami Dolphins?

Today's you tell me is all about what worries you more.

I want to know whether you guys are more concerned about the Miami Dolphins current offensive linemen or their quarterback.

Miami's offensive line did really poorly last year, but Chad Henne wasn't any better. Which do you think is a more glaring problem that the Dolphins need to fix?

Also, you could put whether QB or OL should be more of a priority in the draft.

I just want to know what concerns you guys more heading into next year.

Thanks for reading, and let me know what worries you more.

I think Henne would have been better if they had a running game the defense met the running back in the backfield way too much

So you're more worried about the offensive line?
The reason we had no running game is because we has no quarterback. Also we have two dinosaurs in the backfield. If we get a QB it will make our running game better whoever runs the ball. Dolphins made a huge mistake when they took Jake Long insted of Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco.
An emphatic, animated 100% vote for offensive line....oh yes, and let's get Ingram too.
Phins had a series of problems on offense.
1) no running game
2)weak offensive line
3)play calling was awful
4) Henne is not capable of carrying the team

I am sure these items are not breaking news!
I vote for the O-Line because you have to run ro offset the passing game and you have to protect the Qb in the passing game. We need at least two more beasts on the line. Sure, we have QB problems but I feel that good coaching will eliminate most of those problems. You can select the best QB or RB in the draft but if you can't open holes or keep the QB upright, you wasted the picks.
Have to go with offensive line as more important than QB at the moment. Strength in the line opens up so many possibilities. I'm wondering what you guys think about our defensive line, and how it stacks up to teams like Pittsburg?

Been saying this all along, fix the offensive line first because it would not matter if Tom Brady or Peyton Manning was the Phins QB, without protection, they would be no better than Henne was last year.

But what good is an offensive line if the quarterback they're protecting is no good? Last years pass blocking wasn't terrible, the problem was the run blocking.
i think it is henne on the most part but the onfensseve line needs work as well
At some point, it doesn't matter how good your line is, you need a franchise qb. Don't be naive, Brady or Manning would certainly be far better than Henne behind our line - both have played better behind weaker lines with virtually no running games. We have Long, a perrenial probowl LT. Carey, when healthy is considered one of the top RT's in the game. Incognito seems to have gained the coaches confidence and will be either center or guard. So 3/5 of your line is solid and above average. Yeah, we need some interior line pieces, but there's enough there if you've got a decent qb. We don't....yet.
Really, we need both. Like I said above, two beasts for the O-Line and I also believe we need QB help, too. Three years under Henning may have ruined him and we need to start on the next chapter ofMiami Dolphin QBs.
One player does not make a offense. The five lineman make or break the unit. That is along with the play calling.
a quarterback is only as good as the offensive line protecting him. chad was not given an oppurtunity to progress. why is it so hard for the phins to see that we need a line that can protect and open up a running game. we need a quality back that can pound the ball for years to come. when you have good protection and a solid running game....this will open up the passing game to see what chad is capable of doing.
all year long, yal said o-line,, that was the trouble with the dolphins, 2010 that is,, I still say it the coaching,,,all the o-line players are real good to very good,, just take 2009,, we had a good o-line,, in this draft take all o-line players and may be we can get one that works ???? henning is a very good off coach when his head is in the right place,,,what you saw last year was what happens when you remove just one part of a wheel ( bill P ) and leave all the long long time pals in place. friendship goes a long way in the nfl. until tony can stand up and take control of this team, we are in trouble.. ( tony should have fire henning after the third game last year if not befor ......) you tell me why he did not ????there lays the dolphins troubles....oh yes,, the 2 qb we have is one more 2nd round pick, gave a way, what the ----- that only 5 so far on qbs that did not work out????
O-Line, besides his quick release there was a reason Marino was one of the least sacked qbs. Webb and Sims were a great duo. Give Long that. Haven't seen a dominant center in Miami since Dwight Stephenson. Wish Miami didn't
get rid of Satele.

Look what we got for him, another player later released. Satele was having trouble but that too may have been coaching since it started under Cameron.
You are right, I believe Satele could have managed better under better coaching. But this
regime especially Sparano better be aware of that, Ross wants flash and popularity he'd better
Build up the foundation or it's all a house of cards.
O-line is an issue we need a couple run blockers on the interior and Cognito at center would be a smart move. Ingram is the smart pick at 15 i dont see mallet being available but who knows. I think Miami drafts a qb 3rd round and if Colin Kaepernick or however u spell it is still around i think hes a logical choice. His mechanics are solid he has good footwork, arm strength is not an issue, his mid/long range accuracy is very good. His combine showing has been very good on level with mallet and better then locker but he just doesnt get the same attention as either of them. Hes a possible diamond in the rough and his play style fits Miamis offense and would complement our receivers. I think o-line is the bigger issue over QB but the draft is very thin at the o-line position i def dont see miami going after an o-line player with the first pick.
